I searched for this but could not find anything ...

Since this seems like a feature stretch I am crossing my fingures but is the information in a UDT table searchable by DotNetNuke's Search engine? That would be an awesome feature although it can be quite a technical feat with indexing the records, I am sure.

If that is not the case, is there any module out there that does this? Worse case scenario: how would I be able to implement this?

Thanks for your time.

Regards,
Christopher Koeber

UDT does support portal search using the iPortable interface (search is not implemented by scanning any tables).

OK, that sounds awesome, it's a start! How does that work? Reading the documentation (doh!) I did come across this but I am not sure how the search functionaility works.

Thanks for your time.

Your site needs to be indexed - this can be done by scheduler or using host->search->reindex content

it should work by default for all current UDT module instances - make sure, your search index has not been corrupted.
