I want to create a reusable import file for the UDT module but was wondering if I should remove the UserDefinedRowId values in the xml file that is produced when I export content from the Module menu. I need the custom column settings (help text, custom module values etc)  to remain but was wondering if the UserDefinedRowId values had to be unique across all the UDT modules on a website.

Can I leave them in and import the xml file as is or do I need to remove the value?

If i have to remove the value is there other values I need to also remove?
