Hallo,

I am using the User Defined Table with an ajax wrapper to handle with an overview and a single view of the items. Now i have the problem that the portal search module finds the entries in the user defined table but gives no id as an param to assign the found entry.

Example:

    1. User Defined Table wit 10 entries.
    2. Each of the entries has got a link to a detailed view.
    3. Now there is a entry found with the portal search. the entry has for example the id: 4.
    4. But the link of the found entry leads to the page where the UDT is without any param of the found entry.
    5. Now i have the problem that i don't know which entry was found and so i can't open the detailed view of the found entry.

Knows someone an easy solution for this problem or are there any advenced Search Modules without this problem?

sry for my bad english and thanks in advance!

Michael

I am not aware of an existing solution. You would need to change is ~/admin/SearchResults.ascx(.vb).
GetSearchResults, called inside BindData, already returns all data you need.
