Found the problem - the line I insrted should have read:

<xsl:if test="udt:Restricted_UDT_Original='false' or contains(/udt:Context/udt:UserRoles,'|Subscriber|')">

There was a ) missing.  I have, however, run into another problem. 

I am logged in as host.  When I mark a  file as restricted I can no longer see it.  Does the above line make it so that only "Subscribers" can see the file? Or should it work in the same was DNN, where if you are host, you should see everything?

I have 2 type user:

1. admins: that they have full access to all records of specific UDT form. (i mean the users that have role 'manager' not role 'administrator')
2. users that they are in role 'publisher' and they can only see their own records.

i try to use "onlyownitems.xsl" xslt template and change it by add  "or <xsl:if test="contains(/udt:Context/udt:UserRoles,'|manager|')">" near all "$IsAdministrator" to let "manager" role see all records as "administrator" role can see. but it didn't help and still manager role cant see all records.

Please help me
