Adam,

projects are currently in process of being transferred to Codeplex, including codebase and issue tracker, only core framework will remain.

I expect public write access to project trackers in Gemini being blocked soon. Thank you for your contribution.

Cheers from Germany,

Adam, please update the description of your issue, otherwise I am forced to decline it. As Sebastian already pointed out, there is no option "display module title". It is named "display container". Sebastian is also right that the correct solution is a container without a title, independent from the text HTML module.

FnL is not Text/HTML! There are a lot of reasons why the current approach makes sense, as it provides a lot of flexibility to the designer.

Your request can only be an additional option, please don't report it as a kind of bug, which is it certainly not.

Stefan,

sorry for wrong description, should be better now. Anyway, I think that all modules should keep some uniform ergonomy. I use frequently at least 5 different module types on my site and sometimes I need to see containter (title) and sometimes not.... it is quite weird when some module keeps its controls even when container is hidden and some not.... and if I would want to keep user away from "Add record" I can always disable for this user add record and button will never appear on page for him.

Can U be please more specific with " lot of flexibility to the designer" ?

....in fact by hiding Add New button U create new security rule that nobody can add data into table even when it is enabled by security....

I still believe that it is a bug ;-(

Thank you Adam, and I understand your request.

A designer is able to place the add record in any corner of the container, he can just use the symbol, or only text, etc. If FnL would introduce your desired behavior, it would also break the design of existing FnL modules, that way it can not be enabled by default. For all these users your fix might be considered as bug.

I was finally open to test the issue. Funny thing is that both FnL and Html uses module actions for add/edit, the only differ in the kind of permissions. It seems that the core edit permission forces the container to load in edit mode, while it ignores the container for custom permissions. There isnothing I can do for FnL, it is an issue of the core. I will take care that the issue gets directed to the core dev team.
