We have several forms on our site. No Credit Card details are taken, but we would like to make the personal details on the form secure.

1. is this possible in any way?

2. is the data on the DNN forms secure enough already - without trying to make the page on which a form appears https ?

  1. form and List has a set of permission to control how is able to add, edit, and delete records, to edit access to fields or to limit the view permissions.
  2. Secure enough depends always on use case

i have seen the permissions for editing and deleting records etc for different uers.

All our forms are intended to be viewable and submittable by ALL users with no registration required.

On our previous website we had a SSL certificate and each form ran on a https page.
However, with DNN, because each page is not really a page and made up on the fly (from a series of modules) - am I right in thinking that it's not possible to make a page secure in the same way through IIS?

Or do I have to make the entire site https if i want it to be secure?

You can configue https on a per page/tab level. It still requires an installed certificate on your IIS though.

thanks,

We've got an IIS certificate. I've looked through our files in IIS but can't seem to find the pages or the tabs.

if we had a page like this:
http://www.sypensions.org.uk/development/Contact/WebsiteFeedback/tabid/261/language/en-GB/Default.aspx
- should there be a folder/page somewhere called 261 - that I can apply the security to?
