I'm working on a jobapplication portal.

For jobseekers I have 'add your cv' page. On this page I put a forms and List module with the Application mode set to 'forms'.

For the employers I have a 'Candidates' page.

On this page I have a copy of the forms and List module on the 'add your cv' page. The Application mode of the copy is set to 'List'. So on this page, employers get an overview of candidate-records.

The problem is that certain fields (telephone, email, ...) should not be visible to employers, but only to the site admin. Therefore I unchecked the 'display on list' option for this field and checked the 'restricted form field' option (although I'm not entirely sure about the purpose of this setting).

The problem is that these settings are also propagated to the orinigal module on the 'add your cv' page. So when I candidate logs in and wants to fill out a cv form, he also doesn't see the 'email' and telephone' fields.

Therefore I wonder if it is possible to decouple a copy of a module instance from it's original instance. So the both are configurable entirely separat from each other.

Thanks for your help,

Anthony Candaele

Disable restriced form field.

Restricted form field is a field which should be only editable to adminstratore or certain roles. In your use case, a good example would be a field "state" with values like "unapproved, rejected, accepted".
