It appears that the title of fields and separators is limited to 50 characters - is there any way to increase this? or failing that any way to place text with the form that is longer than 50 chars?

cheers

size of the field title may easily result in distorted view.

I suggest using header text and footer text in module settings to provide general hints.

To provide assistance in the input form, please use the help text per column.

David, this requires changes to the database schema, stored procedures and ascx controls.

There is already a corresponding work item: http://dnnfnl.codeplex.com/WorkItem/View.aspx?WorkItemId=14313
It will not be part of the upcoming release, though it is also important for my regular use cases.
