I was wondering about the user defined table module which allows users to import data into a grid.  I am making a directory for a site and the layout of the columns so far is name, contact, and email in three seperate columns.  All the data is in and there are hundreds of contacts on the site.  Is there a way to merge the contact and email column other than going in one by one and changing each contact? I've done a search on the forums but found nothing Please help.

no, there is no explicit merge feature. you might however create an export, which generates an xml files, you may append your other data to and re-import the data.

The solution is a virtual merge:

Hide your columns and add a new column of type calculated column, for example with the expression [name] + ': ' + [-mail]
