can drop down lists in the FnL module be validated ?

e.g. force the user to select one of the options?

I know there is a checkbox next to each column, which says 'required' for a required field. But, I have checked this and the default value 'please select' can be left as the default choice without the need to select an option.

I tried on my own, and your setup is only possible if you add "please select" as a possible item to the list items, and it therefore a valid string as any other, and it fullfills the required rule.

You might want to set a validation rule which prohibits "please select" as value.

thanks,

I made it into an email type and validated it against this instead.

Please select ; choice 1 |my_email@here.com;choice 2 |my_email@here.com

(made all other choices a valid email address except for 'please select')
