How could i display an image with "~" in the URL - "~/photo/myphoto.gif"

I added a photo to the profile (using 21fiveind) whitch stores the Photo URL as "~/photo/myphoto.gif"  , I would like to only show that photo in a list.

Images are expected to be stored either using full path or using "fileID=". If a 3rd party component doesn't use one of those formats, there is a compatibility issue, pleas contact the developer/vendor.

Just noctice we can use Gravitar in form and list, how do I go about setting this up?
