I'm trying to use a Form and List form to pass values to the XML/XSL module.  XML module is working with Static values for the query to the data source, but I'd like to use a form to change the values.  Am I on the right track here?

For example, I'd like to enter a name in the Name field on Form and have that be the value for the NAME field in the XML query.

Thanks for your help.

Maybe a little more direct question.

What is the correct format for the "Pass-Through Form Post" function in XML/XSL module.

I have a form on a page called Input.
There is the field "NAME" on the Input Form
On the XML/XSL page there is a field called "Name"

What is the syntax of the command to place the NAME value into the Name field?

Thanks.

You can either pass in the parameter as xsl parameter into the script or as querystring parmeter to the url. Parameters are added within the configuration dialog. First parameter is the name (either of the querystring parameter or the xsl parameter), second of the type (for example form pass trough) , third is the name of the name value collection, in your case just "name"

Oh, I did not realized that you are asking to combine Form and List and the XML module. My answer before was general, not related to Form and List itself.

You need a tool  like firebug  to look up the name inside html. As the values submitted by Form and List are always stored on submit, I would not use FnL as a select form for the XML module.
