Do I need to give edit module access to the Form and List Module in order for a user to add a record? If i just give create record access and not edit module access the user cannot see the "Create new record" link at the foot of the module.

I want the user group to be able to add records but not mess around with the configuration.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Accepted Answer
it should be sufficient to grant add row permissions (and maybe edit own lows permission), but you might need a container with an edit command included.

The "Add Record" link is renderd as Action:Button within the container. Please try with the default container.
