Palin text box = Yes
The standard width is 75.
Can I change that without any progamming?
If yes, how?

Using:
DotNetNuke version 05.06.01
Forms and List version 5.1.3

I wanted to reply becuase I was wondering the same thing.  Firebug says the default is 75 columns and 9 rows while using the RAD Editor.  If we were using the FCK Editor we could change this in the editor settings for this instance.  I don't see that option for RAD Editor.

Thanks...

Anyone? I am trying to force the textbox into the width of my skin and I need to know if the combination of RAD Editor and F&L will work.

I was wondering the same thing too. I am able to edit the width and height of basic text boxes by formatting the CSS style under advanced column options (i.e width:300px;height:300px) however I run into the problems of no autowrapping of the text and the cursor starts in the middle of the box rather than the top. As you mentioned though, this can be fixed by changing the type of column from text to rich text -- but then this creates the entire new problem of not being able to edit the width or the height of the box. I haven't tried editing the actual module yet, any luck Mark?

No Cheevs I have not had time to dig into the module.  I guess if there is no "simple answer" we need to look at replacing the provider for just just this module.  Changing the provider for F&L to FCK editor we can then change the rich text box properties independently.
