I figured out I can save a FnL template, but is there any way to save the FnL configuration to a page template.  I have a page that has a FnL configured as a comments section.  When I save the page to a template and then try to use that template for a new page it brings in an unconfigured FnL module.  At that point I could load the comments template, but it would be nice if the page template kept that configuration so I would not have to load it everytime I create a new page.  Is there someway I could accomplish this?

No, but what about saving the page with a preconfigured FnL? One of the main reason of FnL templates had been a limitation in the page templates in former DotNetNuke versions. In past, settings belonging to the tab/page had been ignored in  the page templates, but that changed a few releases ago.

Actually thats what I did.  I have a page that has a configured FnL on it and when I click export template.  It creates the template fine.  When I add a new page and pick that template it ends up with an unconfigured FnL.  Would the Export Content check box be needed to save the config?

Did you enable "include content" when you export your page template? The content of the FnL module is - beside any data - its own configuration.

Yea that actually did it.   "Include content" will save the FnL configuration to the page template.  Thanks!!
