Hello,
I have the following configuration for two columns:

Text Column
Title: Case
Data Type: Text
Required: True
Display In List: False

Calculated Column
Title: Case Number
Required: True
Display In List: True

Data Type: Text
Expression: '<a href="http://%ExternalURL%?CaseIn='+ Case +'" target="_blank" >' + Case + '</a>'

When the "Case" is entered, I have to remove all the spaces so that the link which is created in the Calculated Column is correct.
But, I'd like the Calculated Column to display the Case Number correctly as "10 F 300150".  How would I change the output format to display with the spaces?  I can't seem to get it setup correctly.

I suggest that you spilt Case into three fields: case_prefix, case_middle, case_number.
All these fields should not display in list. Now it is simple to write an Expression which handles both uses cases.
