Hello..
I have a text column (
WebsiteURL) which is configured for a drop-down list which the person entering information may select.
(e.g. [CNN.com|http://www.cnn.com?search=];[Google.com|http://www.google.com?search=];[FoxNews.Com|http://www.foxnews.com?search=])
There's another text column (
Search) which contains further information about the entry. Not a problem.
BUT, I'd like to create a calculated column which will take a value from the drop-down list, combine with with the second text column. See below for the example.
What would I enter for the expression of the calculated column to get the proper configuration? Thanks.. -jeff
E.g.
The user entering the information selects CNN.Com in the drop-down box.
In the second column they enter what they which to search for in the selected drop-down; e.g. debt limits.
The calculated would take the value of the drop-down item and combine it with value entered in the second column.
e.g. '<a href="WebsiteURL.Value' + Search + '" target="_blank" >' + Search + '</a>'
