Hi guys,

I have finished designing a module for a client and I want to know whether it is possible to implement this with the form and list module.

The first link, I am displaying how all the records will be listed and the 2nd link provides the page when a user clicks on the View profile link which should display all the fields for the record.

yes, this should be possible using custom xsl rendering (the built in generator will help you).

Hi Sebastian,

Got a question. I started created this form and have set the detailed view enabled. It displays the small magnifying glass icon.

My question is how can I adjust the design so I can display this as the design I created?:

The column Profile should capture the detailed viewed link and instead of the magnifying glass, I would like to display the text View Profile.

Thanks

Paris,

I am trying to do something very similar to you. How do you create a custom form view...I see you can use a custom XSLT for the list view, but how to do change the layout for the form view that you see when you click on the view details?

Any direction you can provide is much appreciated!

Thanks,
Chad

Hi Chad,

Well in the end I did not manage to do this with the form and list module. I did it with the Property Agent module from Ventrian - http://www.ventrian.com/Products/Modules/PropertyAgent.aspx which I found was much much easier to implement. Actually I finished the whole functionality in one day, so I recommend if you are trying to do something similar (i.e. list of records and each record having a detailed view) then go with the Property Agent
