Hi

How to get data(Access) from Form and List in DNN.

Is there any module or any predefined function to access data from Form and List?

Thanks

The DNN Core Reports module works. You need to download and install the Form N List Datasource add-on module.

I've also done it with Netism's Satellite module which is a great module for custom output from repeated data. However, this would require being able to write a (sometimes tricky) SQL statement using PIVOT.

Form n List itself allows views. After defining your custom fields/table, add a record and your can configure the view output to grid, xslt, etc.

There are other options depending on your skillset. Here is an article that shows how to use Razor Host to directly call the UDT (Form n List DLL) controller and iterate through the results.

Can u give the any idea to get data from Form and list. Have searched the whole day but am unable to get solution. It's very urgent.

It is possible to retrieve data from Form and List?

What i mean is

For Example, Will create one DB name as "X" in sqlserver and create table name as "XX" in under "X" DB, now i will retrieve the data from "XX" table to display in Gridview (asp:Gridview), so now I will create one connection to access SQL server and connect the DB and now write query as "select * from XX" for get data.

The above process is get data from sqlserver to display data in Gridview or Datalist in asp.net, Here i want get data from "Form and list" and display into gridview or datalist in DNN. If is there any predefined module available for retrieve data from Form and LIst.

If you want to install a provider for XML/SL module, you need to install XMS/XSL module first. Same applies to Reports module
