Is there a way to give a live update of the calculated column on the form?

For example, when a user changes a drop-down box, it recalculates and displays the new total?

Hi M,

This would be really nice, you are right.

However this is not easy to implement, as the syntax of the calculated column expression is not compatible with Javascript executed on the client side, this must be calculated on server side. There is a small chance that this might be an option for the future, using the Service Framework introduced in DNN6.2.

Can you please request this as new  workitem on  http://dnnfnl.codeplex.com/workitem/l...

Best regards,
Stefan
