Hi

I am translating the rscx files for form and List ....but all translations I do are not showing...the english version shows for all languages

The rscx files are appearing under user defined table node...the past name of form and list.

Any idea how to solve this one?

Best

Jose

Jose,
please be aware that DNN uses content language and UI language - you might need to switch UI language to view your translations, if using Content Localization feature in DNN. I suggest using AdvancedControlPanel from www.oliverhine.com in this case, which has a language switcher for UI language included.

Cheers from Germany,

Thank you for your help.

I have several multi-languages sites and never happened. All modules are showing translations except From and List.

I reinstalled it and install log refers the resx files install but not working in other languages.

There is any way to detect the resx path that the page is loading?

Best

Jose,

FormAndList does nothing special in localization. I am German, working with German resources for FormAndList with no issues.
It reads the resources from DesktopModules\UserDefinedTable\App_LocalResources, UserDefinedTable was the former name of the module, and the folder name remained for compatibility. Did you translate using Admin->Localization?

Regards
Stefan

Hello

Yes I did all you are saying.

I just realized that it worked for one label "search" to "Pesquisar" that is on the same file but all paging labels not working.

Is the module getting paging labels like next, last, fist, etc... from somewhere else? I am using rendering mode :Default Grid Table

I edit this file sharedresources.pt-PT.resx in admin languages \DesktopModules\UserDefinedTable\app_localresources

For example "next" in Portuguese is "Próximo" and has you can see here all paging labels still in English.
http://oms.refreshmultimedia.com/Membros/Benef%C3%ADciosSociais/tabid/115/Default.aspx

Portal default is Portuguese and i also selected Portuguese has preferred language in profile.

The paging labels are there and translated but it looks like it is ignoring it.

Best

Jose
