Not sure if this would be beneficial to everyone else, but I think it would be neat if there was an option in the form settings for posting an update to a user's profile in the new social journal module when a user adds a form item.

Trigger: On new

Action: Update users journal "Post to Journal" --> " UserX has just posted a new item"

-- with the "new item" being hyperlinked either to the page or direct item they added.

I have a scenario in mind for which that functionality would be useful and think others may at some time as well.

Clint, makes sense to me. IMHO this would also require  some templating for a preview to that item. For example, if the form is set up to register for a committee meeting, it should be able to say "User X is going to attend the xyz  committee meeting".

I am quite sure that social features like Journal support, messages and notifications  will be added to Form and List. This is only limited to my spare time or somebody who steps in for this. Currently I am exploring these functions in custom projects.

Thanks for your quick response! (DNN Community rocks) I'm glad that social feature integration is on the Form and List radar. That's good news for the future.

I would say User File Manager makes sense also.
