Hi,

Please bear with me since i´m new at dotnetnuke and i´m just a common user. I am using DotNetNuke_Community_07.00.04 and FormAndList_06.00.04. I created a list on a page and an associated form on another page. The form page is public and colects data into the list page that is on the private part of the forum. All works fine to this point. The form displays 3 buttons: Submit, Cancel and Show Records. If a public user fills in the form and submits the data gets into the list in the private part. The public user has permission set for View Module and Create Record/Submit form; he has no permissions to see the List page.

Problem: If a user on the public FORM forum page clicks on Show Records before entering any data the page is refreshed and an empty line with the last record created appears (this was set by me to try circumventing this problem). However the line has on the left side an "edit pencil" symbol. If the user clicks on the pencil the form is displayed, filled with the last created record in edit mode. The user can change the data an click on Update button and the record data is updated in the List on the private part of the forum.

Problem would be solved if i could get rid of the "Show Records" button in the form page. If not if i could prevent the user from accessing the "edit pencil".
