Hi all;

I'm new to the module, and would like the user's display name to appear in one of the fields of a new record.

I do not want the user to be able to change it. The default setting loads the field OK. I tried a drop-down list with one item (the same token), and the validation expression as the same token, but no matter what settings I used, I was still able to update and put gibberish in this field.

How to display it on the form (and list), but not allow changes to the default value?

Thanks,

Rigel

Use a Calculated Column. You could also simply display the CreatedBy field.

Thanks, Mike that worked just fine!
