Hi all, is there a way for me to create an incremental auto ID in my Form.

I'm building a notice board for our company and all I need now is an ID for each notice, so that if the poster closes his Notice he can still have a reference to the ID. I've set the list to close all notices with "completed" status.

I could use CPU Ticks or datetime for UID but an incrimental numbre looks "cleaner"

thanks Warren

Warren,
Create a calculated column in your F&L configuration. Set the data type to Integer and the expression to (without quotes): "[UserDefinedRowId]"
The row IDs increment whenever a record is added to ANY F&L module on that DNN installation.

Shweet, thanks Mike.

Worked like a charm.

Glad to help, Warren.

Just so you know how I determined the value to use, when in edit mode for the F&L module, if you Show Data as XML, you'll see the possible values that can be used.
