I've installed the DNN Form and List module and now I want to change the sort asc/desc icon.  The standard icon used is called sortascending.gif and I've created an icon called sortascending.png.

Where of how can I do that?

As far as I can see this is hardcoded. Either you download the source code, change it there and re-compile the project, or you create a file called sortascending.gif and overwrite the existing file. See file List.ascx.cs, lines 667 and 674.

Another way would be to propose a new feature to the Form and List team. You could create an issue on the project site.

Happy DNNing!

A quick workaround would be to overwrite the same file and change the target file extension from png to gif which is located here:

mywebsite/images/sortascending.gif

I know it sounds weird, but i works (gif and png files are read by the browser)

Then at your leisure time work on the source code, :)

I tried it many many times without a single error!
