I am trying to format our form n list module.

it looks ok when logged in with a nice space inbetween checkboxes and the text. however, when I logout (and view as a normal user) the text is squashed right alongside the checkboxes and looks naff.

I've tried amending the module.css file, adding css into the header of the module and even the skin.css file in the skin folder, but nothing works.

In Form n list configuration >> List settings >> there are 2 options:
Default Grid table and
XSLT

I'm not sure what I should select here and nothing happens when I select EDIT (thought it would allow me to edit the current style sheet?)

any ideas?
thanks

I am running DNN 7.4.2

I also tried adding a space in the list - either side of the semi-colon ; but that had no effect.

you should override styled defined in module.css inside your portal.css - this will persist module upgrades.

FnL supports grid layout (which is affected by module.css only) or custom XSL rendering, i.e. the module issues the data as XML and applies your custom XSL stylesheet. Then module includes an HTML to XSL converter to make it easy to create your own style sheet. There is some documentation in the manual and on formandlist.com.
