We use the Forms and List (FnL) module extensively in our DNN sites.   The main way we use it, is to control content.  We will create an admin page that has a FnL module on it.   The FnL module is configured to capture the fields needed for the content we want to show.   Then we let the Content manager use the FnL module to maintain the database of content.

Then we use a Razor view module to display the content in the format that we want.   It reads the FnL database to pull the content.   This works great for our themes that can use bootstrap accordion or tabs to format the content.

We went with this approach because we didn't want to have to train our Content Managers how to code HTML and require them to get the syntax perfect.

We are worried that the FnL module will eventually go away.   There hasn't been a lot of activity on this module.

Is there a module out there that works similar to the FnL that will allow us to do what we described above?   We are currently using DNN 8.5 Evoq Content and possibly upgrading soon to DNN 9 Evoq Content.

The team for maintaining FnL just switched, hopefully the new maintainers will get into traction quickly.
Besides there are other modules for similar purposes like OpenContent or 2scx.
