Hello,

I'm showing external data, and I need to identify the current session.

In other words, I'd like to send the session ID to the external site, in order to know if several request are from the same DNN Session.

Other posibility, could be maintain the session in the differents XML request to the external site.

Is it possible?

Thanks in advance,

Claudio

DNN doesn't work with sessions, there is nothing like a session ID. And if there is no session id, it was never added as parameter

Hi,

Ok.

Do you know any way to identify the current user (logged or not)?

Thanks!

Claudio

Hi Stefan,

Yes, It's true, I've tried this before, but when I have an unlogged user I have always a "-1" value for the user ID value.
(It's reasonable, because the user it is not logged). Then, How can I identify the current user without Session?

In other words, I need to know if a request (to the external data) followed for another correspond to the same user (not logged).

I think It's impossible, ... right?

I appreciate any help from you. Thanks!

Claudio
