I have a need to import xml data into my xsl template. The data is coming from the same domain as the template and should pose no security threat. I think the end-user should be able to assume responsibility  for enabling this function per instance of use.

Currently I am forced to use an iFrame to display a separate ASP.net  page which accomplishes this natively. It adds a level of complexity which could be avoided by selectively enabling the Document() function for XSLT.
