The older module won't work for me. The source requires user credentials to access it! This feature is not available in 4.3.5. When it rains, it poors..... :(

I am quite sure that you can enter username/ password for xml source in 4.3.5. What is wrong with this?

You are correct. I am not sure why I didn't see it the first time around. My apologies.

I have been working with it this morning.

My only problem is now as its still changing the format. It's indenting each line with white space. I have indent set to off in the outout format. This causes the first record in each line to be erroneous.

It looks correct when I run the transformation in XLMSpy, but the module seems to transform the xml differently no matter what I do in the template.

I also tried stripping whitespace. It does not change the output through the module. The indent / whitespace is still present.

Jason,

here a workaround.
  1. Go back and install latest version of the Xml module.
  2. Get the Url to your XSL file. In my testing system, it is http://localhost/dnn700/portals/0/csv.xsl for the file csv.xsl in the root of my portal.
  3. Set up your xml module as before.
  4. For the link type, set URL instead of file and put in the Url from 2.

Now it should work as expected. This is totally weird, I would never have expected that. I am still astonished that the result of the rendering is influenced by the way the style sheet is loaded.

Stefan

Uploaded Xml 6.0.3 beta to codeplex: http://dnnxml.codeplex.com/releases/v...

Now it works also with xsl files.
