Saturday morning, approximately 1:00 AM PST, we upgraded the www.dotnetnuke.com site to version 4.9.1.  We had some unexpected trouble that seriously impacted site performance for the next (approximately) 18 hours.  Although the exact cause of the issue is still not resolved, it is believed that it is related to caching under heavy load (the issue was not manifested under testing of any light to moderate load).

The site was taken down for approximately 20 minutes while a rollback was conducted.  The rollback was for the upgraded components only, no site data (registrations, posts, etc) where lost.  We are currently running on 4.9.0 with a slight modification to address the latest security bulletin.
