I have a set of forums with two groups and several forums in each group. One group is public, one is private.

The issue, the Forum Manager link in the admin keeps getting set to point to my Home page, and the private group no longer show up.

I have recreated the forum several times, but this keeps happening. I have no idea what is causing this.

The way I have recreated the forums is to add a new forum module to the page and then go into the database and update the groupid for each of the forums to use the new groupid. This way, I can at least save the forums and threads.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

 Additional information:

I am using DNN version 05.01.04 (3)

and Forum Module version 4.5.3

Also, if I hack my way to the Forum Manager and change the private forums to public, then they will show up.

Thanks

Anyone have any ideas here? This keeps happening every couple days and pretty much makes the dnn forum module unusable to me.

Any help would be appreciated.
