Hello!
I see there is a very long thread about anonymous posting. Since I don't like that long threads at all, I will just post my opinion in this new thread. I hope its ok!
I believe anonymous posting is something essential for forums that are small and most visitors tend to visit the host portal once and never revisit. Absense of anonymous posting would result in these visitors not to post at all, something that I wouldn't like at all as forum owner.
As forum visitor, I find it very anoying when I visit the forum of a small company that sells a 10$ software and I have to enter my personal information to post something. Especially when I want to contribute to their work by posting a suggestion or comment, it is still anoying to have to create an account for it.
