Hey all!

Is there a place in the database or in the GUI where i can set email notifications to send to everyone on a specific thread.??

Also, where is the source code for the forums?  i dont seem to find a link?

AFAIK there is no notification button for all thread participants.

you find the source at the project's download page - be aware, that the current version is a DNN3 module, you need VS2003 or micgrate the module to edit it using VS2005.

You should be able to make that modification via the DB.  The forum_posts table appears to hold the posts, and there is a bit Notify column that is flagged for notifications.  I would make a few more checks to ensure that is the only place, but I think it is.

You can set a forum to a Notification forum where it sends notifications by role per entire forum, otherwise its not possible as is per thread. What mitchel suggested is not correct, you would have to add to a seperate table. There is a system of check and balances which means you really need to look at everything going on otherwise it could cause errors and or double up notifications (but I believe there is a fitler to stop that).

Crispy as I noted I was not sure about my reccomendation.  Can you direct me towards information on the "notification forum" as I guess I have not seen that setting anywhere.
