Hi,

I have been receiving a number of error reports from current users when trying to submit a new thread in the discussion forum.
I have tested it from my dev machine against the web hosting provider and could not repilcate the error using FireFox or IE. I am runnind DNN 4.1.1 on a Win 20003 server with my histing provider.

The Admin - Log viewer shows me the following exception :

Any ideas.
The only out of the ordinary thing that I have done is to install and default to the 'English(South Africa)' language pack.

It just seems strange that I can post from my dev machine and they cannot do so from theirs.
I the meantime I have switched off all 'Performance' and 'Compression' settings to see if this does not resolve the problem.

Any suggestions or ideas?

I got problem too :(
I am running DNN4.3.7 and forum 3.20.08.

The forum was fine in the beginning, but suddenly went wrong when I was testing it. Anyone posts a new thread or updates a existing thread will get an error message. I tried the module on another portal within the same DNN installation, same problem. I also tried to uninstall and install again, same problem.

The error message says:

Unhandled error loading module.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Unhandled Error Adding Module to ContentPane ---> DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Error: My Posts is currently unavailable. ---> System.ArgumentException: Requested value 'posts#14' was not found. at System.Enum.Parse(Type enumType, String value, Boolean ignoreCase) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Forum.DNNForum..ctor() at ASP.desktopmodules_forum_forum_container_ascx.__BuildControlDNNForum() at ASP.desktopmodules_forum_forum_container_ascx.__BuildControlTree(desktopmodules_forum_forum_container_ascx __ctrl) at ASP.desktopmodules_forum_forum_container_ascx.FrameworkInitialize() at System.Web.UI.UserControl.InitializeAsUserControlInternal() at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(IWebObjectFactory objectFactory, VirtualPath virtualPath, Type t, Object[] parameters) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(String virtualPath) at DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.Skin.InjectModule(Control objPane, ModuleInfo objModule, PortalSettings PortalSettings) --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.Exceptions.ProcessModuleLoadException(String FriendlyMessage, PortalModuleBase ctrlModule, Exception exc, Boolean DisplayErrorMessage) at DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.Exceptions.ProcessModuleLoadException(PortalModuleBase ctrlModule, Exception exc) at DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.Skin.InjectModule(Control objPane, ModuleInfo objModule, PortalSettings PortalSettings) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

After you refresh the page you will find the thread is saved/updated though.

Hope someone knows what goes wrong.
