I know there is a an option to make an Aggregated forum that resides at the top of a forum on a particular page, but I am wondering if there is a option that will display the threads from all the forums on my entire site. I have different forums on different pages to address different topics I need an easy monitoring system for this.

Thanks in advance

The aggregated forum will display all PUBLIC forums. What this means is forums which are not marked for private view (by role).

Thanks for that advice but Im not sure what you mean by public. My Forums are all set to be viewable by unregistered users and editable by registered users. I defined this in the module settings. Is there another setting that must be considered?

Thanks again

Mark

As far as I know the aggregated forum only shows forums that are contained on the specifc module instance that the aggregated forum is put on.

Therefore if they are on multiple pages it will NOT include all of them and I do not believe you can change that functionality.

Mitchel is correct. An aggregated forum can only show the forums within a specific ModuleID. However, it is possible to copy the module (thus retaining ModuleID) and display only a certain group. In this case, the aggregated forum would still contain posts from all other forums under the ModuleID but still allow the module to be on different pages.

Public forums are ones which do not have restricted "private" viewing at a forum level. (based on forumID)
