Hi Crispy,

both servers are in the same datacenter, however our NZ server has been setup specifically for our NZ clients, while our dedicated SQL server already had a number of US DB's running and the server was configured for local (texas) time, so while they're in the same physical location they're running 18 hrs apart (NZ is +18hrs).

Cheers,

Reuben.

Sorry to budinski, but I'm having a similar issue.  I have my dnn hosted by godaddy and they are located in the Pacific timezone where I am located in the Mountain timezone and would want the forum and the portal to reflect that.  There is no place in the forum for the user to specify what their timezone which seems silly to me.  Truly the timezone displayed on a post should be displayed based on a user preference instead of what timezone the hardware is located or set to.  All other mature forum packages handle the timezone in this manner, seems like reinventing the wheel not to.

james,

this works for me on dnn.com, you might need to set portal default tz to server tz to make it work properly (though this should not be required) of course, registered users need to set their own time zone in their user profile correctly.

Cheers from Germany,
