I've seen many emails on this subject but no one ever seems to resolve this issue.

I am trying to set up the forums so that whenever a new post is made I receive an email with the post in it or at least a link to the post. My SMTP settings have been set and tested and they work. I have set my account to admin and am moderating every Forum and still nothing.

Any of your time is much appreciated. I really need to get this resolved. Thanks in advance.

Are you on the latest version of the forums? I can look into it once I know which version to look at.

Sorry I'm using Forums v. 03.20.08 and DNN v. 04.04.01

It's hard to say what the issue is. I know they can work, because it works here.

Haha ya I know they work here because I just found out I had this reply due to an email. Does my server need to allow relaying? That may be a dumb question but is that how it's commonly done?
