Is it possible to embed youtube/googlevideo into the forum posts currently?

It seems that when the post is submitted, the forum strips all the google/youtube embed code from it and leaves that part blank, the only one I've gotten to work properly is from http://www.efficionconsulting.com/DotNetNuke/Modules/VideoStreaming/tabid/608/Default.aspx

But I don't wish to require my users to view the page source, and copy out that huge string.

Any thoughts on why this is occuring, and/or what I can do to resolve it?

This is done for security reasons....if text is entered in the non source mode it is HTML encoded to protect against Cross-Site Scripting attacks.

Is it possible to add something similar to the BBCode functions that other forums have?

So the user would do for example:  [youtube]http://youtubevideourl[/youtube] and the server would replace it with the proper HTML?

No, that is not possible at this time or in the next version but I have never had an issue posting youtube videos in the forum module.

I'm using a standard install of DNN 4.5.1 hosted on PowerDNN, everytime I copy and paste the YouTube embed code, it shows in the "Preview" but when you submit, it gets erased. I've tried every possible way I can think of to post it and it still results in that

Any ideas what might be wrong?
