Hi there, im succesfully building a new site for my portal

At the moment everything is ok with the nuke, but it should be posible to change the skin of the forum module?

I dont like how it looks without any of the three default themes.

If anyone can help me--- thanks

You need to have other themes available or create a new one. I would avoid creating a new one as the theme engine has changed and a release will be happening within the next month or so.

Sorry Crispy, I am a(n) (another) folk  that is waiting for the next Forum Module. Are you saying that the module will NOT release in MAY?
Do you know if the DNN team make the same type of test to put a module in the Marketplace?, What about the SnowCovered?
I think the release process is a MUST, however, the 'tunnel time' (begin-end) for each subprocess should be known - at least for you - ..then .... you can share this info with us...

Cheers,
Alfonso

I think a little patience is required, this module appears to be almost a rewrite You have to understand that resources aren't always available on tap so I would have thought time estimates would be a little tricky to say the least. When the tracker module is out I would think things will be quite different and we would understand the process a lot more, again we will have to wait for this as well.

Bottom line is there is no point in releasing until the module is ready. From what I've seen the forums module is probably the most active of projects, so we can't exactly accuse the team of lying on its arse.

Patience... patience....!

Cheers :)

It's hard to put a timeline on things since each module is different, lots of those involved are volunteers, and finally since the process is still somewhat new we need time to figure out what works, doesn't and how long it takes. I am pretty sure this time will decrease for the release process as the process itself gets ironed out, more automated and developers adapt to it.

Snowcovered has no real process, the Marketplace and what it takes there are beyond my knowledge and I would ask that in a chat about it forum (Marketplace, not snowy).

As for an update, I heard the security audit is about finished and there were only minimal items found. After I get the results I will make the changes and resubmit the package to the release process, which will probably be pushed through much more quickly this time. I will post more details as they come available.
