Greetings all,

I'm rather new to DNN, despite the fact that I first registered here in 2003. Anyway, this is my first post, so forgive me if this question begs for an obvious answer, but:

Where can I find the source to the Forums? I downloaded the Source package, and installed DNN via the prescribed instructions, but can't seem to find the source to the Forums. Another user indicated that it would be in the Release .ZIP file, but I found every file except the .vb ones. Am I looking in the wrong place? Is the source not being released? Thanks in advance.

Which Source package did you download? You should be able to download the Forums source package from the projects/forums page. Once you have that DL'd, it's most likely a ZIP file that you'll upload through the host/moduledefinitions menu, that process should extract the source code into the proper directories.

Forums is compiled against DNN 3 though, so you'll have to install the source on a DNN 3 site and compile with VS2k3, or try upgrading the code to run within VS2k5.
