"aliasis"?

Do you mean Avatars?

If that's what you mean, I believe you'll have to wait for the new version fo forums...

Rob Poretti Why you recommend wait for the next version.... ?, There is no clear date to be released, no intention to hurry the release process, it can be weeks or months (remember new forum module has been promoted since February to be released on March)...The Project Release Tracking only shows that the Forum Module is in the process, but looks like is 'stoped' in the process).

You are from the FORUM team, so I assume that you have additional information... can you share it with us?... Months ago I took the recommendation to wait for the new release... I gave up....So be more realistic if you recommend to wait for something that is not even close to be released (at least look like freeze), give more information....maybe I am wrong (probable..but there is lack of information arround the module).

Alfonso,

It's out of their hands now and i assume that is just as frustrating for them as it is for us. Just take a look at the following quote which comes out of the tracking module.

In staging the upgrade, it has become apparent that a fair amount of re-configuration is required in order to be retain the functionalilty of the previous version (e.g forum visibility / permissions). We are taking time to fully evaluate this impact in our own staging environment.

I guess they will take their time (5 days, and counting of no status change) and do it in a thorough way.

Marc
