Hi all

i am new to the DNN world, but i am seriousy enjoying the ease of use the system is currently providing...After discussing some potential areas to improve on our website, we decided to add in a forum. I have a couple of questions that i hope some of you experienced DNN'ers can help me with...

1. i gave registered users permission to edit the page in order to allow them to post. is there any way to restrict them from deleting other user posts, tacking their thread, appointing themselves a moderator etc.?

2. is there any ways to set up a self registration for the forum (or i guess the entire website itself)?

i think thats all the questions i have for now, im sure there will be many more in the future...Thanks in advance for the help!

1.) Giving the user edit permissions for the module ONLY gives them permission to post and edit their posts.

2.) You can do this by selecting public or verified registration in the site settings.
