When will the new version of the forums be released?  I have sites that are broken because of forum tracking turned on for various users.  Users are unable to edit their my settings becuase of the checkboxes being turned on.

Per the release tracker the module is in the process for testing/approval.

As far as I know there is not a known date.

Yes, but the release tracker is a little off for the forum project, according to this thread:

Seems a little counter productive to have it in the tracker and not update the tracker...
