I am having a little difficulty with the user settings in the Forums module.  I am using DNN 4.5.5 and Forums 3.20.09 which I think are both the latest.

When I click on User Settings I seem unable to modifying anything there. On the help icon it says '

As administrator I don't seem able to find any settings for allowing signatures, tracking threads, allowing links/html etc.  The only place I can think where these might be is under the Forum Settings and Community as when I open that section up nothing new appears at all.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

David

Hi David,

will you give a complete forum as read only or only a discussion.  If only a discussion you meen, so you can set it as cloesed in the menu of the thread.  Otherwise you have give in the Forum settings only view access to the yousers, and setting the right for the forum authors to full access.

If you can not setting the right in the forum settings, so I think there are a problem with your admin access or your database.

Regards

Matthias
