It wont give you a time scale but the releae tracker will give you an idea how far throught the release process the Forum module is (BTW they can be slow to update this )

http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Products/Development/ProjectReleaseTracking/tabid/997/Default.aspx

The info in the release tracker is not accurate and 'unclear'. For instance, submission date does not represent the 'submission date', can be a modification date (I can probe that the Forum module was NOT submitted on Sept 10th).

The released tracker is a good tool, but it is used in a wrong way.

Anyway the forum module will be release someday in the near future... (everything is relative, just as to Albert)

The thing with the forum module is that when beta testers find issues in the most current release, even when it's in the release tracker, Chris will resubmit the module to the release tracker. You can find such info on the beta site of the forums over here.

I don't really mind the resubmission, although i'd love to see it pass, because this just gives us a better performing and last but not least, a more secure forum module!!

So, we'd should keep our fingers crossed and hope that no new bugs are found!!

Cheers,

Marc

Marc
