I am using Forums ver:3.20.09 with DNN ver: 3.3.7 with Friendly URL's turned off.  When using IE6 to reply to a post I recieve the following error:

Error: My Posts is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Requested value posts#6 was not found. ---> System.ArgumentException: Requested value posts#6 was not found. at System.Enum.Parse(Type enumType, String value, Boolean ignoreCase) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Forum.DNNForum..ctor() at ASP.Forum_Container_ascx.__BuildControlDNNForum() in C:\Projects\YourHub\YourHub.com\DesktopModules\Forum\Forum_Container.ascx:line 7 at ASP.Forum_Container_ascx.__BuildControlTree(Control __ctrl) in C:\Projects\YourHub\YourHub.com\DesktopModules\Forum\Forum_Container.ascx:line 1 at ASP.Forum_Container_ascx.FrameworkInitialize() at System.Web.UI.UserControl.InitializeAsUserControlInternal() at System.Web.UI.UserControl.InitializeAsUserControl(Page page) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(Type t) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(String virtualPath) at DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.Skin.InjectModule(Control objPane, ModuleInfo objModule, PortalSettings PortalSettings) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---
This is being caused by the forum module interpreting the anchor link #posts6 in the querystring as part of one of the query string key/value pairs.  This is only caused by IE6.  It works fine in IE7 and FF.  Also, if friendly url's are enabled it works fine.  However, we use a custom URL Rewrite module and I therefore can't enable DNN Friendly URL's.

Is there a known workaround for this, or do I have to alter the forum module to solve this?

This is a known bug, not much you can do in that version besides enabling FURL, or altering the PostToDataBase method in the Forum_EditPost.ascx.vb.
