AF rocks, it does what it says.

The core forum "4.x" does not yet exist for consumers, and has been under development for over a year in an effort to address major deficiencies...

I would also add to your list of "reasons to choose the core forum":

  • you enjoy waiting
  • you own VS 2005
  • you enjoy waiting

ahaha...good one (of course disregarding the VS 2005 bullet)!

I didn't know that people have been waiting for this more than a year. Reading thru the posts it seems that by the end of 2007 we should have it so hopefully it will be a non issue any more.

fair post though.

Out of fairness to Will and the folks at AF, I want to follow-up and say that I now fully understand what will was talking about when he mentioned that I was not a customer, so perhaps I was not in a position to make such criticisms of their customer support.

Since finally becoming a customer (albeit a cheap one), the CS has been phenomenal with prompt replies and follow-ups. More so, now being a customer, I am glad to see the focus is on current customers and, given my own selfish interest, appreciate that he is handling current customers with high priority while trying to balance pre-sale questions, all coinciding with a major test of an upcoming release and everything else going on behind the scenes that we don't see from cursory looks at the forums.

I stand corrected and fully understand the point that was being made...and like the module even more so having played with it for a week now. ;)
