I'm migrating my site from vBulletin to DNN. I'm not sure whether I should buy Active Forums or wait until Forum 4.04 is released. I really think that the new Forum 4.04 sounds cool, but it sounds like the realistic time frame for completing the project is very unclear (which of course makes sense, because nobody knows about potential bugs).

But anyway: Is there any rough estimate regarding the release date? Is it within a couple of weeks? A month? Or is it likely that it will NOT be released this year?

Regards

AllanE

If you look in the release Tracker you see it is in release proccess.  We have to pass the release process before release it, to give you a Module that is working.  We can not give you a time stamp to a release process, about we can never be sure that it will be passed.  The Module now is 9 Days in Release Process, we tell it more then one times.

Please look in the Release Tracker on this page how the release process is go on.

Thanks

Matthias

Any word on the next ActiveForums 3.8? It sounded like it's close to releasing, but I can't find out anything; they have been busy and their forums are moderated (and not updated that frequently). Anyone have any idea? I am migrating to Active once it hits the proverbial shelves.

So please put me down for 1 vote for Active. I like their polls, too. :)

ActiveForums is not a project of DNN!  It is a third parity module.  So it is not supported here.
